Retrospective

A structured way to reflect on what happened, capture what matters, and agree what to do differently. Works for projects, sprints, or any team period worth reviewing.

How to run this

Give everyone 5–10 minutes to silently add their thoughts to each quadrant. Then go through each one as a group — discuss, look for patterns, and agree on actions. The goal isn't to capture everything; it's to have the conversation that moves things forward.

"What did we do well? What should we make sure we keep doing?"
    "What did we learn — about the work, each other, or how we operate?"
      "What did we not have enough of — time, clarity, resource, communication?"
        "What did we wish we had? What would have made a real difference?"

          Keep it to 3–5 actions. Any more and none of them happen.
